Mohanapriya Elayappan completed Masters in Biotechnology at Bharathidasan University Tiruchirappalli, has about 7 years of experience in genetic engineering of commercial crops, molecular biology techniques and recombinant protein. She had worked with Prof K. Sekar in a structural biology project at Indian Institute of Science and also has in-depth insights in generating transgenic plants. At Aprathima biosolutions, she is very keen in applying her technical expertise to overcome the environmental hazards faced by the society by enabling faster and better solutions through high throughput research.

Rohit Roy completed his Bachelors in Computer Science and Masters in Computational Natural Sciences from the International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad (IIIT-H). He has over 5 years of experience in developing computational solutions to study biomolecular structures. As part of Prof. Abhijit Mitra's team at IIIT-H, he worked on large datasets to analyze RNA structures and their interactions with ligands. Working at this intersection between data science and structural bioinformatics, At Apratima Biosolutions Rohit hopes to do his part in finding answers that can open the doors to an ecologically sustainable future.
