Dr. Kavyashree Manjunath has a bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from BMS College of Engineering (VTU), followed by a PhD in protein structural biology using X-ray crystallography from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. Subsequently, she worked as Research Scientist in a drug discovery group at CCBT, Instem, Bangalore. Followed by a DST-SERB NPDF funded project on a protein engineering project designing influenza immunogens. She has 9+ years of experience in both experimental and computational protein structural biology. Her research experience include structural and molecular dynamics studies of thermostable proteins, rational protein engineering, next-generation-sequencing data analysis, structure/fragment based drug discovery. Her research work is published in 15 peer-reviewed international journals.

Dr. Sudhakar Varanasi had his education at IIT, Kharagpur (1969-74) and obtained a Ph D from IISc, Bangalore. He served as a faculty for 17 years at IISc before moving to the corporate world in 1991. He was a founding director of Tiger Software, before moving to Satyam Computer Services as a part of senior management. He designed the 108 emergency medical services and started EMRI (Emergency Management Research Institute) in 2005 which pioneered large scale deployment of emergency services for the first time in India under a public-private-partnership model. He held CEO position at CoOptions Technologies, and Namma Bengaluru Foundation, Bangalore. He was also chief mentor at Emergent Institute. He currently mentors many individuals and organisations and challenges them to take on large social causes using innovation, technology and spirit of entrepreneurship. His fields of interest are: education, healthcare and financial inclusion.
Prof. Subramanya is the Director of IBAB, Bangalore and Biocon chair. With a masters in physics from the University of Mysore Prof. Subramanya received his PhD in structural biology from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. He went on to do postdoctoral work at the University of Oxford, UK. After returning to India, he was a faculty member and Assistant Director of the Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow. He then returned to Bangalore, and was associated with Aurigene Discovery Technologies Ltd. From 2002–2014, the latest position being that of Senior Vice President, Lead generation and Structural Biology. He is currently Visiting Professor at the Institute of Trans-Disciplinary Health Sciences and Technology. Prof. Subramanya has 36 publications and 9 patents to his credit.
Dr. Yeturu Kalidas is assistant professor at IIT Tirupati in the department of computer science and engineering since 2017. He is working in the areas of core machine learning, computer vision and bioinformatics. He obtained his Ph.D. from IISc Bangalore from the department of SERC and received best thesis award Sir Vithal N Chandavarkar Memorial Medal 2011. Post Ph.D. he worked in Samsung and Amazon totaling industry experience to 10 years. He actively publishes in good journal, files patents and delivers out reach lectures. Dr. Shriram is a synthetic biologist. Presently the founder of a San Francisco based startup in Programmed live bio-therapeutics called “EliveBio”, whose aim is to engineer a safe human commensal bacteria with a cytotoxic drug and deliver it inside lung to help terminally ill lung cancer patients. He is also part of Indian start-up called “Jananom”, that works on synthetic biology & vegan microbiome foods. He has over 2 decades of experience in building 6 start-ups in life sciences and operated in 28 countries around the world. Three of them failed and three succeeded including one being listed in Zurich stock exchange with a 22x returns to his investor. He lends his support to more than 60 startups along the east coast of India (from Tuticorin to Jorhat) and advises many technology incubators.
Rajiv is the Chief Operating Officer of the Gopalakrishnan-Deshpande Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (GDC) at IIT Madras. Rajiv leverages his extensive experience and training to work at the confluence of Startup Mentoring and Leadership Development to create Social impact through Entrepreneurship-driven Wealth creation. Prior to the present role, Rajiv worked for over three decades in diverse leadership roles with Indian and global corporations. Rajiv is a TQM champion (certified by JUSE, Japan), Business Excellence Assessor (certified by CII – Institute of Quality), LEAN Startup instructor (trained by GDC – IIT Madras), Development Centre Assessor (trained by SHL) and an NLP trained Performance Coach. Rajiv has been an active and long-term volunteer for various social causes in the field of mental disabilities, youth mentoring, helping marginalized women and rural development. Rajiv is a lifelong learner and he loves to travel. He prefers to be known for his approach of “Care -> Think -> Do -> Detach”, something that he actively practices in his work and social life. Rajiv did his MBA from IIM Ahmedabad and his undergraduate from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University.
A highly experienced professional with 30 years of corporate exposure. After qualifying his Chartered Accountancy he started career with Aditya Birla group and then worked with large groups like Vedanta, L&T, Indo Rama and RPG group as business and growth partner. Deepak was CFO for than a decade of engineering JV of RPG group with engineering MNC- TE connectivity. He has contributed various articles on financials and business topics in leading magazines and newspapers. He has been recognized five times for CFO roll of honor for year 2013-2014-2015- 2017- 2019 by the CFO India. He also hold a doctorate degree for his research on internal audit effectiveness. Currently he advises various startup and mid size enterprises on financial domain.
